Stand Up! Against Homophobia Poster Campaign
Call for student submissions
To create awareness of homophobia and the International Day Against Homophobia on May 17, the board is relaunching the Stand Up! Against Homophobia poster campaign. We are sending out a call for submissions to all secondary students.
Submission requirements:
Deadline: April 11/14
Submissions must be reviewed by the school principal before being forwarded to the board by April 11, 2014.
Send submissions to the attention of Nancy Marshall, Communication Officer at the Catholic Education Centre.
CDs and memory sticks will be returned – please label with school and teacher's name.
A review committee will meet at the board on April 14 to select the winning designs.
Posters will be printed and distributed to all elementary and secondary schools by the first week of May.

- 16” x 22” poster (with a 0.2” bleed)
- High-resolution PDF file saved to CD or memory stick (include bleed and crop marks)
- Name of file to include student and school name
- Include Slogan: “Stand Up! Against Homophobia” underscored with the subtitle “Made in God’s Image”
- Include board logo (attached)
