CPT - Spotlight On You: Digital Portfolio
In this CPT unit, you will embark on the process of putting together a digital portfolio for this course. As a reflective and creative learner, you will consider the portfolio as a labour of love, which will embody your learning and appreciation for media arts. As a believer who thinks critically about the meaning and purpose of work, you will reflect on the creative process by establishing a plan for your final digital portfolio. You will select your strongest six pieces, after which, you will develop a planning map using presentation software, such as Microsoft PowerPoint or Apple's Keynote. You will introduce the element of interactivity into your digital portfolio through the use of hyperlinks. As a person of faith, you will be asked to consider how we can emphasize the importance of interactivity with others over electronic technology. Following this, you will apply the tips, skills, and techniques acquired through this course to the creation of a visually appealing splash page that will carry your very own design scheme. Be inspired by the Chi-Rho, Christ's monogram, and by well-known logotypes when you produce your own monogram using your initials to promote the graphic identity of your digital portfolio. You will demonstrate the importance of reflection to the creative process by writing weekly blog reflections that will be included in your digital portfolio. By applying the critical analysis process, you will provide thoughtful, sensitive, and honest feedback in keeping with Catholic values to three of your classmates. You will complete the requirements of this course by evaluating yourself and your many wonderful accomplishments as represented in your final digital portfolio.
